Host a KAIRair station
Anyone can join the open community weather network. Host a small sensor station, add your corner of the world to the live map, and share your microclimate with everyone.
Two ways to join
DIY kit
Build it yourself from a kit or your own controller and sensors — identify, wire, flash, self-test. Great if you like making things. Request one below and we'll set you up.

Arrives flashed and self-tested. Power it on, join your Wi-Fi, and enter the claim code. Zero toolchain — great as a gift or if you'd rather not solder.
Request one →What hosting involves
- Keep it powered and on Wi-Fi so readings keep flowing.
- Site the sensor well — in shade, with airflow, off hot walls and rooftops.
- Confirm your location so your pin lands in the right place on the map.
- Keep the firmware current with safe over-the-air updates.
Your station's readings are open data and show on the public live map — that's the whole point of the network.
Request to host
Tell us a little about you and how you'd like to join. We'll be in touch about next steps.
